Privacy Policy

This policy explains what bisabaik.org collects, why, and what we do with it. It describes how the site actually behaves rather than restating a template.

Who we are

This website is operated by Yayasan Rumah Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, which runs the Bisa Baik Bersama program. Our office is at Jl. Sepat No. 43, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12520, Indonesia.

What we collect

Information you send through the contact form. When you submit the form on our contact page, we receive the name, email address, organisation, role, topic and message you typed. Nothing else is collected from that form, and no field is pre-filled from another source.

Technical request data. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that records standard request information such as IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp. This is generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used for security and reliability, not for profiling.

A theme preference stored in your browser. If you switch the site between light and dark, that single choice is saved in the local storage of your browser under the key bb-theme. It never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What we do not do

  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site trackers.
  • We do not run third-party analytics on this site.
  • We do not load fonts from third-party font services. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so visiting this site does not tell a font provider that you were here.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
  • We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Why we use your data

We use what you send through the contact form for one purpose: to read your inquiry and reply to it. If a conversation continues, we keep the correspondence so that we have the history of the discussion. The legal basis is your consent, given by choosing to send us the form.

Who else can see it

Your submission is transmitted to our own server function, forwarded to a Google Workspace mailbox, and read by the Bisa Baik Bersama team. Two categories of processor are therefore involved:

  • Our hosting provider, which serves the site and runs the form endpoint.
  • Google Workspace, which hosts our email on the bisabaik.or.id domain.

We do not share your inquiry with partners, funders or anyone else without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept while it is relevant to an active or prospective engagement, and for the period required by our own record-keeping and reporting obligations. When it is needed for neither, it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Write to info@bisabaik.or.id and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to confirm your identity first.

This site links to PasarBaik.com and to other external organisations. Once you follow one of those links you are on another organisation’s site, under their policy rather than ours.

Children

This site is written for institutional partners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
